Hunger Never Takes A Vacation...You Can Help.
Many families and especially kids are going to bed hungry because of the poor economic climate in Michigan. Some people are skipping meals and have to rely on local food pantries to subsidize their food budgets. Forgotten Harvest reported that 45% of the pantries, 25% of the soup kitchens and 39% of the shelters turned away people last year because their shelves were empty.
Join Garden Gatherers for the construction of raised beds, planting of food plants and the harvest of produce for local soup kitchens, Forgotten Harvest and local families. Garden Gatherers will assist and coordinate with individuals and congregations during this initiative. Complete the following questionnaire and forward it to us.
